Today I met a bunch of friends for lunch. We try to get together once a month but it’s getting harder and harder to do.
I have a question for all you Photo 365 participants. I noticed that some of you combine your project with your personal blogs while others have a separate one. What influenced your decision? Just curious since I’m thinking of combining my two together.

I have mine seperate just because I didn’t want to feel like I was spamming my main blog and the people that read my RSS feed that are maybe not into a bajillion pictures. When I was doing the 100 things meme (… which I never finished, oops) I felt like I was spamming myself!
Also, I wanted to play with the EE photo gallery module and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to do so.

I’m doing Project 365 on my personal blog because I have trouble thinking of things to blog about on a good day, so I figured at least I’d be guaranteed of ONE blog post a day with this project.

Looks like a great place! Hope you had fun. Isn’t there a song called “Sunset Grill” or “Down at the Sunset Grill”, now I have that running through my head.
I debated long and hard about combining my Project365 and regular blog. In fact, for the first couple of days in Jan, they were on my main blog. But then I decided that it would be easier to separate them, as some people might not care about the random photos. I often link them now though, if my photo ties into my day or something I want to blog about (like socks or something really and truly thought-provoking). I don’t think either way is bad, just whatever works best for you. No right or wrong way with this project!!

I combine mine, but was impressed by those of you who have separate ones. I find it easier to keep up with one blog, but that’s because I’m trying to simplify my life! LOL.
Enjoy both of yours btw. Totally in awe of Baby Bug’s birthday bash.

Lunching with friends is one of my favorite things to do! Whaddya have?
I have two separate blogs because I really wanted to be able to see my progress with the Project 365 as the year went by. It was begun for totally different reasons than my personal blog, so I wanted to (and still do want to) keep them separate. Additionally, the subject matter of the Project 365 is different from my personal blog.
I also noticed I have some readers who don’t read my regular blog but are regulars on my Project 365 blog. I like that I can give them the option of just doing a quick visit and not having to sort through multiple daily posts, or having to sift through posts that might not interest them on my personal blog.
Those are just my personal reasons. No reason you can do whatever you want to do – they’re your blogs!

I meant to say, no reason you CAN’T do whatever you want to do; they’re your blogs!
Oy – typos can change the meaning entirely!

Desert Songbird and I have a group of gal pals that we (try to) get together with once a month, too. We’ve been managing off and on for 10 years, now!
With regards to your question: I have my Project 365 separated from my personal blog because I wanted to keep it short and easy to maintain. I don’t write on my regular blog nearly so often and when I do, I can tend to ramble on about something completely unrelated to my photos.
Great pic, btw!

I miss having a group of girlfriends. Someday, I’ll meet people here, I hope! LOL
I keep mine separate just because I feel like they are two different entities. I crosspost at times from the project blog to the regular one when it’s a cute thing I want to share with the masses.

I get the feeling some people are looking to sell blogs down the line.
I’ve been segregating pictures in my pages to stop my readers having to wait for all the downloads, but that list is going to get unmanageably long real fast. (My photos aren’t project 365 – just event photos of my kid’s lives. – for all the parents that didn’t bring their cameras.)

This is my first visit to your 365 blog, but thought I’d answer this question. I have two blogs for the same reason Desert Songbird mentions. I wanted to see just my picture a day thing going on. I often times will post the best or most representative of my day on teh photo blog, then go write about the rest of the photos on my main blog.
Enjoyed all your pictures!
