I just love the hotel we stay at in Seattle. They have a business center where I can hook up my digital camera and download my photos. The nice desk clerk even let me use it for free! I should request more of these trips!
Anyway, this morning we drove by the Space Needle and I made my co-worker stop so I could take this photo. Sorry, it’s a little off centered. It was threatening to rain at any moment!

That thing is so cool! You can see so much from the top, it’s amazing!
** I’ve only been to the top once and it was so cloudy that I couldn’t see much. It was still pretty cool, though!

was it opened yet? Last time we were there the train wasnt and we would have had to take a 10 block walk to get to it. We were on comedown from Maui, so we passed.
I love the fogginess
** It did look closed but I wasn’t sure if it was because it was just so early in the morning.

Great shot, I LOVE that angle! I haven’t visited Seattle yet (it’s on “the list”) but that shot shows what I think it must look like – cloudy and always looking like it might rain.
Cool that they let you transfer your photos for free, nice perk.
Have a safe trip!

I love, love, LOVE Seattle! I used to live across the Sound for about a year. Seattle is much like San Francisco but less expensive (though not that less!).
We have family in Tacoma; we’re due for a trip back up there.
I adore the Dungeness Crab Bisque at Ivar’s Salmon House – yum.
** I’ve never eaten there but we did eat once at Anthony’s Pier 66 & Bell Street Diner. It was soooo good!

I grew up southeast of Seattle… so that brings back memories.

I live about 3 hours away, so next time you are in town, let me know so I can go over and meet you!
** Cool! Sometimes I have a not so good crew and end up just staying at the hotel!

I think your composition on that photo is great. The sky did a good job of framing the needle. You don’t have to be in the center each time. Being a little off gives your picture character.
I took a photography class in college. It was fun but developing was murder.
** I can’t imagine having to develop my own film. I’m too impatient.
