Isn’t this cookie so cute? I saw it at the bakery today and thought Girlie Girl would love having it for her snack tonight. I also hoped to sneak a little bite myself.
When I showed it to her, guess what she said? “Mommy, it’s so beautiful I can’t eat it!”
Hmmm . . . I wonder if she would notice if I took a bite after she went to sleep?

She’s right, I wouldn’t want to eat it either, it is too pretty!
But hey, I want to know how it tastes. There’s a cookie store here that does the prettiest designs on cookies. I was going to get some last year, but a friend of mine told me that she had already tried them, and they were the worst tasting cookies ever. She said they looked GREAT but they tasted horrible. I love cookies too much to bear buying one that doesn’t taste good!

Oh, such a pretty cookie! I wouldn’t want to eat it either - but somehow (sadly), I think I would manage it! Maybe you could sneak a little bite out of the back where it wouldn’t show! hee hee!
